6 Sigma, is a variation measurement. It indicates how close you have reached to the excellence and to what extent the result have satisfied the customer expectations.

What Is 6 Sigma?

From the statistical point of view;

"Sigma" is the statistical measurement unit used to define the standard deviation in a group. It indicates the variability or the dispersion of the data.  


Whereas, "6 Sigma" is a variability measurement. It indicates how close you have reached to the excellence and to what extent the result have satisfied the customer expectations. The higher the Sigma level is, the less the number of errors and the higher the number of process that satisfy the customer needs.
