Nokta magazine awarded the "Special Environment Prize" to Borusan Oto.

1992 February
The company was awarded with "1992 Environment Friendly Prize" by Environment and Woodlands Protection Society of Turkey.

1993 December
The Public Relations Association awarded our company with the prize of "White Statuette Environment Award."

1995 April
The company started traffic training campaign for primary schools.

1996 March
In Turkey environmental friendly water based paint was implemented to the automotive market for the first time.

The 9th President of Turkey Republic, Süleyman Demirel is at the inauguration of Borusan Otomotiv Zehra Nuran Kocabıyık Primary School

1998 October
"Fiftyx50 Challenge" team, representing the 50th anniversary of the Land Rover visited Child Protection Society in Istanbul.

2001 January
Borusan Otomotiv donates to the Anti-Smoking Foundation, the sum of revenue obtained from the sales of optional cigarette accessory in BMW automobiles and its own contribution to be used in training campaigns and activities to prevent children from starting smoking.
